THE END OF TANDEM SINIARSKA - ANTONIONI
Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni and his greatest muse, Polish artist Agata Siniarska, after the premiere of their last movie L'eclisse , officially announced to the press, they will stop working together.
It was a long journey, very creative and very intense. We felt in love, we gave each other 100%, we did three great movies. It is time to say goodbye, said Siniarska.
Till now Antonioni refuses giving interviews.
Antonioni and Siniarska were working together more than two years. In that time they made three movies that have already become cinematographic masterpieces and for which they received many prestigous awards, like BAFTA Award, Jury Prize of Cannes Film Festival and Golden Bear award at the Berlin International Film Festival.
For the last movie L'eclisse , Siniarska is nominated to the Best Actress Award Prix d'interprétation féminine at the Cannes Film Festival.
